Why Dance

Dance practice ; of the fine performing classical dance of Bharatanatyam, helps one to be tuned with the inner repository of peace and prosperity. It is a kind of meditation that brings good health and harmonious thoughts as all emtional states find expression through it. The innate levels of consciousness not visible to external surrounding and not even known to exist within us, find awakening with such dances both for the artiste and audience alike. To me personally, it has lead to the discovery of the highest realization of the Self while dancing and ofcourse, I try my best to bring that trance like feeling often in daily living too, so that I can practice detachment, yet experience joy in everything that I do or witness being done'.
